Hi, I’m Lisa! It’s a pleasure to meet you.

I founded Mine + Kindred to make custom artwork accessible to all couples for their wedding celebrations and other milestones. All of the pieces I create for clients are original and hand-painted, making them truly unique to each individual love story and history.

I believe in the beautiful process of creating something unique, personal, and lasting. My pieces usually intertwine clients’ unique backgrounds and personalities with festivity and meaningful stories, always with a little humor!

After living in New York City for 10 years, I relocated to Burlington, Vermont, where I live with my husband, my son, and our rescue dog, Elsie. I studied art at Hamilton College in Central New York, and in Paris, receiving the Barney Moore Prize for Excellence in Art and a Smallen Creativity Grant. When I’m not working, you can find me hiking with my family, skiing, figure skating, or listening to Neil Young.

I thrive off of new projects and challenges; whether you’re after a classic wedding invitation suite, hand painted wooden signs, tea towels, venue illustrations, or something else, I’m game!
